FT - exactly. That's why we need universal health
insurance for everyone in the US. All other countries
do it - we can too - and we can do it better, since
we spend more dollars than anyone else here.

Maybe when business sees that it is in THEIR interest
to have this, they will get behind it. Right now,
the incentives are to cut jobs - and we have about 43
million uninsured in this country.

We are told there is no money to pay for a program like
this. But, we have an administration paying $ 1 billion
a week to stay and rebuild Iraq - and - they are attempting
the biggest government welfare giveaway in US History:
the permanent removal of estate taxes - which will transfer
trillions of dollars to the rich in the next 20-50 years
and beyond.

99% of people would pay zero estate tax now.

This is being allowed, because politicians think the
American people are stupid, and because frankly most
people don't take the time to read and understand what
their own govt. is proposing.

Those trillions can go either to:

* The rich

OR

* They can be used to provide basic healthcare, housing,
and education for the other 99%. The choice is ours.

And - tax credits could be given to KEEP jobs. Jobs
programs to rebuild infrastructure that is decaying could
kick in when we have slumps like this also.

All I can say, is that we all have to wake up - and VOTE.

If it wasn't so expensive to cover employees then companies wouldn't be so hesitant to hire someone. They would have the money to do so.
