The problem is that I know, and many others know that we have created millions of jobs in this recovery. The problem is these jobs are not being created here, instead the jobs are going to india and china.

What do you have against the Indians and Chinese?

In all seriousness, nobody likes to see jobs disappear and not be replaced. It's happened in manufacturing for decades. Levi's just announced they're moving production offshore. I guess some of you IT - types were caught off guard; never expected it to hit that sector, perhaps believing that our high education levels would provide some kind of protection from competition abroad. It appears that today's software writers are like yesterday's mill workers.

If those IT people are so smart, well-educated, and motivated, and I'm sure they are, they'll need to stay at the forefront of R&D and try to find new, better, and cheaper ways to provide their genius to the mass markets -- including all those Indians and Chinese who will eventually have some spending power and provide markets for the next generations of all that high tech stuff.
