I never said Clinton was totally honest...At least he didn't lie about going to war though...Bush has betrayed our nation -- he's another LBJ who will be dragged down by bad advisors and by a war that has too many UNintended consequences...Bush has a reckless lack of curiosity and was not bright enough to see how flawed the NeoCONS Iraqi war plans were....Clark is brilliant and is a war hero -- he will NOT commit our troops to fight overseas unless we are effectively partnering with allies and ALL other measures have been tried. I don't think you would ever see General Clark ever use faulty intelligence to justify a war.

Silicon Valley man to run Clark presidential campaign sanjose.bizjournals.com Donnie Fowler is no longer keeping tabs on Democrats for TechNet, the Palo Alto-based network of technology companies. He's now focusing on just one Democrat -- Wesley Clark. The former Army general who is running for President has appointed Mr. Fowler to the top campaign post. Mr. Fowler could not be reached for comment Monday, but a Clark campaign aide confirmed that Mr. Fowler is now running the campaign. There had been rumors that Mr. Fowler was a candidate for the campaign spot. U.S. News & World Report says in its Sept. 29 issue that Mr. Clark was considering Mr. Fowler for the job. And Newsweek reports that Mr. Clark met with Mr. Fowler as long ago as the spring of 2002 to get his advice on running for president. Mr. Fowler's involvement with the campaign may be a sign that Mr. Clark's campaign is able to reach deep into the heart of well-established Democratic Party insiders. Mr. Fowler was a native of South Carolina and in California was easily found in a room of political staffers by his low-country drawl. He comes from a political family. His father, Don, served twice as chairman of the Democratic National Committee. The younger Mr. Fowler served as a national field director for the Gore-Lieberman campaign in 2000. He also worked in the office of the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission and was a staffer in the Clinton White House, where he served as a legislative liaison. At TechNet, Mr. Fowler was in charge of the organization's involvement with Democrats. Among other things, he tried unsuccessfully to get Bay Area Democratic members of Congress to support the fast track trade legislation last year. He's being replaced at TechNet with Alix Burns, who has been with the organization for three years.
