Ray, you obviously haven't gone walking in the bush in northern Ontario, where the black-flies are like airborne miniature hyenas and the mosquitoes are like fleets of incoming microscopic hypodermic syringes on suck.

If you think the cosmos doesn't have it in for us, I suggest you wait for the next incoming 3000 metre diameter space rock which considers that we are interfering with its trajectory. If you are more patient, you could wait for Sol to convert to a red giant and see what you think of the greenhouse effect that causes and tell me then whether the cosmos has it in for us. If you are more patient than that, there is some really big stuff waiting in the wings.

If you are not paranoid after that, you obviously have no idea what's going on.
