Get over the displacement behavior syndrome you have with the French. Who cares? George Bush wants to control the total situation in Iraq because then the total contracts go to American companies (Halliburton, Bechtel, Carlyle, MCI) THis is a direct transfer of the US budget to Dubya's inheritiance account. WHy would any country, ANY country want to turn over troops or treasure when they have no leverage? Have you been following the economic indicators?
