Phillip Agee really DID expose CIA agents at risk (as opposed to this propaganda boondoggle), and got many killed. The anti-American domestic enemy made him one of their greatest HEROS.

Now, suddenly they are concerned about "exposure" of bovine-eyed CIA bureaucrats in comfortable offices in WASHINGTON DC?

What is hypocricy to them, a birthright?...

So FIRE this mindless bureaucrat and fill the comfortable Washington DC office with another one.

What could be more dime-a-dozen than bureaucrats in Washington?...

"July 14 column"

>>> So, that's the one you need to compare to.

"First, I did not receive a planned leak."

>>> He initiated the phone calls... then someone gave him the information... So how does he know whether they leaked it into the conversation on purpose? A - He doesn't.

>>> What about the other 1/2 dozen of so reporters that the information was dangled before? Were those 'planned leaks'?

Second, the CIA never warned me that the disclosure of Wilson's wife working at the agency would endanger her or anybody else.

>>> It's not their job - nor should they be expected to - explain the intracacies of CIA operations to him. Suffice it to say that the Director of CIA has officially certified to the Justice Department that a) her position was classified, and b) it is an apparent violation of the law to reveal it.

>>> From the point of view of the law, it is immaterial whether she is an agent in the field (mostly foreign nationals), or an agent's case officer, or an analyst who manages case officers... or a combination of the above.

Third, it was not much of a secret.

>>> What is in Washington? Never-the-less, her identity was officially classified. She has been a classified employee for 30 years.
