The distinction between policy and personal doesn't exist anymore, John.

That's too easy. Of course the distinction still exists. We know the difference. And we also know that the personal is often a surrogate for policy differences. But the knowledge that the one is often a surrogate for the other is evidence the distinction still exists.

Nadine, I find Reason to be a fantastic magazine. Unfortunately, its search function basically, well, sucks. I've tried to find the Young piece to which you refer, without success. Could you post a link if you have one handy? The article sounds like something I'd like to read. Perhaps others would like to do so, too.
