vt,
Should retest 5.40 gap shortly, but then target for HL measures to high 5's. Will re-evaluate there, but could go much higher than that.

Best,
Roebear

Watching HUI's 40 day moving average.

Can't claim any heroics today other than selling CRK near the high because NG prices still look soft, and buying a little GG at $13.86 because I thought the price of GOLD would rally, and hence the shares, with weaker dollar...better lucky than right in that case...Seems the miners rallied because the general list did...Why Gold didn't has me wondering.....is this a fake move before a drop...?? Is the FED pumping liquidity to float the equity boat? What happened to the theory that a weak dollar was bad for equities....not yet??? Or the dollar is about to rally???

I'm less impressed I suppose than others with the HUI's formation here...Several day's with closes above the opening....good...But the pattern looks like many a ledge half way down a fall from a peak, off which we could quite easily drop to 180 after just a bit more to the upside....40 day moving average comes in right across the bottoms of the last couple of days formation, prices below which would spell trouble. Tomorrow, I plan to thin down the list and move up stops on remaining miner positions.
