You objected very briefly and very...Ummm...tactfully. He responded as a long-time friend would be expected to respond--with a show of disappointment and some obvious pique...but without the outright attacks he has leveled on others who have not (as yourself) been his friend for several years. In any case, if your ability to comment is being restricted through a lack of awareness of the myriad postings back and forth, then there is an obvious solution. It would not be fair of me to try to engage you on a topic in which the totality of facts is all on the one side. And I would prefer not to do so.
