I'd be more concerned about who leaked than who is making political hay out of it. My leading theory right now is that Rove was not aware of the law aginst exposing CIA agents when he ordered his minions to trash Wilson with the leak. He just followed his usual play which is to look up any tidbit about a perceived enemy, spin it in a harmful way, and stick it to them. He has become reckless. You can bet the staff is working overtime trying to find a plausable scapegoat, but it would have to be one who knew the information and talked to the reporters. That's going to be harder to find than a barrel of yellowcake in Baghdad. Starting tomorrow they are also going to have to explain why nobody came forward today. Junior will have to pretend that he really did want them to cooperate with the FBI. TP
