I could understand the situation as you present it. But when the OEM (IBM) says something (which I believe they did) then what is the excuse for MRVC to not follow?

Don't understand the thinking of MRVC management, but still like the company and I am still heavily ( for me that is) invested in it

I understand where such a scenario might well be a problem. However, how are shareholders ever to know enough about what/how their company is doing in order to make informed decisions Greg? I realize that one gets profits, loses, sales, expenses, etc. Nevertheless should share-holders be able to get more in depth information so as to be able to make some projections for the long term? Indeed, the entire question seems somehow to devolve to the "inherent right" of share holders to know exactly what their company is doing. I am not at all sure what the correct answer is, and one could debate such questions endlessly. One fact that many of us can agree upon I think is that Noam has been unduly secretive and incommunicative in the past. Will he change? Probably only if he is forced to by legal means, or perceives that his best interest is served by not acting like George Tenet. In a few more weeks we should see if his approach has changed. One might posit that there are many good things happening at our company that are not reflected in the figures given in a given quarters results. If more of the positives were known to analysts we might be receiving some additional coverage.

Incidentally, if the projected reforms concerning Board members are implemented, perhaps Wellington and other large share holders will have the right to propose some candidates for Board election. Interesting.
