But I don't believe you declare the man to be a bigot in the absense of evidence to that effect.

McNabb has already reponded...if you don't follow football, maybe you should take his reaction as an indication of rush's inappropriateness.

Re <<I don't follow football at all, so I have no idea whether Limbaugh's statement is correct.>>

It does not really matter if he was correct or not. That statement was not appropriate for a TV sports show. He thinks he has the same audience as his radio show, what an idiot.

Re << "The Bell Curve". A totally accurate, true, and statistically significant look at just these kinds of issues...unwarranted criticism stifled progress on these issues. >>

The issue that the book raised has nothing to do with what Limbaugh said. Limbaugh was talking about the media bias toward black QB's. He made no statement about racial capabilities.

I read The Bell Curve, cover to cover and I still have it. An interesting read. The book states that Black ON AVERAGE are less intelligent than whites due to genetic make up. If you believe that it was accurate and true, then what do you mean by " progress on these issues". How can you make progress on an issue that is rooted in genetics? Have you read the book?
