Still, Auntie is responsible for knowing she's an oddball and being alert to potential breaches. Absolutely. And for not being upset when people respond to her. It's like the guy who comes into the post office wearing spiked blue hair sixteen inches high and twenty-two rings in various places in their faces--nose, tongue, lips, etc.--and tattoos and a studded dog collar and says belligerantly "who are YOU staring at?" You, buddy. If you don't want to be stared at like a freak, don't dress like a freak.
