Maybe he was a "career" diplomat. Like the "career" investigators in Justice that Ashcroft put in charge of finding the truth. Administrations come and go but the Washington Staffers stay. Wilson contributed to Bush too! And worked for Bush's father. Why does the messenger always get attacked when the message is unpalatable? Let's see who knows already.
