Media watch.

Unfortunately there was a little "crosstalk" , so I can't be sure whether ABC News mentioned the corruption reason for the riots in Iraq. NBC didn't, but CBS did. So I'll have to award CBS as having the most "in depth" coverage for two days in a row.

Police newly recruited by the Iraq occupation authorities fired into a crowd of protesters in Baghdad yesterday after their demonstration turned violent. The cause of their anger was that they had failed to get jobs in the police, in some cases after allegedly paying bribes of up to $100 (£60).
