First of all, I did not make that allegation. I am not responsible for allegations made by others. I will not step in and defend you for something I don't consider way over the top. And it's my judgment to make if something's over the top if it's my defense that's being offered.

As you well know, my standards for over the top are pretty tolerant, just like my standards for everything else. I have taken all your insults with barely a comment and nary a whimper. I'm certainly not going to jump in and defend you or your ideas from something that I would let pass were it aimed at me or my ideas.

I had an obligation to not only dismiss these allegations as unfounded but qualify that by clarifying mojo's view as one that was not based on these assumptions held by his detractors

Where does this obligation come from? Does that mean I have an obligation to defend any and all unfounded allegations? I'd be really busy if I had to respond to everything posted here I found invalid. What makes you think that you do? Sometimes I ignore things because they're just too dumb to warrant a response. Other times because I know I won't be able to get my point across to the alleging party. Other times because I have better things to do with my time. All sorts or reasons for letting things lie. What obligation do you see that I don't?
