Cactus, I could tell stories all day but there are two stories in particular that always come to mind. They each left a profound impression on me. Unfortunately, they are the kind of stories that really need to be told in person. It would be so difficult to reduce to writing. One had to do with something that happened on the field, with a little kid and never giving up. The other happened off the field and something that happened with one of the players that makes you stop dead in your tracks, like a wake-up call. I call them reality checks, ya know. The moment in time.... the impact is profound. One day if we ever have another Porch party, I'll have to remember to tell them. RR
