High beekeepers make good honey.

People with allergies like to buy local honey, because there is a theory that you pick up immunity to the various pollens that way. Also, we had friends who had a relative with ALS or something along those lines. They tried bee sting therapy, which is supposed to help. (Hippie medicine; I don't think much of hippie medicine, but this was in addition to treatment, so I like it). (Don't think much of western medicine either; I try to avoid going to docs.)
