I think you are correct in your comment about not that knowledgeable about many parts of the world. I think he is pretty knowledgeable about South America though. However, in the past, nearly everyone agreed he had one of the finest Cabinets ever assembled. I myself look for a president to be honest and have good horse sense. You can HIRE the so-called experts. You just cant buy integrity though, which is why so many of us have strong anti Clinton feelings. Yes, I suppose it is American tanks but if it were not it would be French or German tanks. You cant blame the Israelis for trying to protect themselves. If America were hit with so many terrorist bombing I shrudder to think what OUR response would be, but I can tell you it would be NASTY. It just totally floors me that the Palestinians cannot see that this infinada of theirs with their limited fanatics is what is KEEPING THEM from acquiring their state. Heck, you would think they would at least PRETEND to be peaceful for long enough to acquire the state, but I really think that those behind all of this are really ANTI state as then THEY would lose THEIR power. As to the Sauds, thats a problem. The royal family is between a rock and a hard place. In an effort to BUY their place they have had to placate all manner of religious zealots and terrorists and now they are paying the piper. What are we to do, America runs on Energy and Energy comes principally from the M/E? I think the house of Saud is bound to fall, what replaces it could become ANARCHY and that again is why it is SO IMPORTANT that we get a stable Iraq gov't installed ASAP. jdn
