I don't think we disagree on those points. I tried to make a distinction between subjectively "harmed" and legally wronged. My point is that we should be aware of the fact that not all harms are actionable, but that intentionally offending people may nevertheless be in poor taste and may demonstrate anti-social behaviour.

As to inflicting gross indignities upon people such as by exclusion as was done to the Jews and as is here being contemplated in regards to women and homosexuals--society ought to have a huge moral and legal interest in the matter...

Besides the reason given is transparently contrived. No statistics were offered for the "risk" to homosexuals (and why WOULD they be at risk from a heterosexual therapist?), yet they were included in the exclusionary category. No. The reason for exclusion was obvious from the beginning and was clearly identified by posters.

Again, it is a simple enough task for a qualified therapist to inform their clients that if they are feeling uncomfortable in any way they need only say so.
