I guess we're on the semi-official wait for spring list now. I just didn't expect snow this early. Have to get on a plane and look at palm trees for a week before I'm ready for large quantities of snow for months on end. Don't get me wrong, I love snow, part of growing up Canadian, eh? We have coyotes in the area, and they sound really neat in the summer, when we listen from the back deck with a cold one in hand, but especially cool in the winter, on those cold, still, moon-washed evenings. Don't have to go up north for the wolves, we got the scaled down version here.
Have to go vote today, they cancelled my son's karate for tonight, because the auditorium at the arena is the official polling station. I think we are going to work on our vehicle for the race next Saturday instead.
My friend down the street phoned and asked how my sense of adventure was doing. I cautiously replied, "What are we doing?". She asked me if I wanted to join her in the first official Toilet Races at the fair next weekend. Her husband built this awesome contraption...toilet mounted on a base on wheels with the front half of an old kids bike attached to the front with a third wheel. We are going to kick some butt I hope. Our kids are going to help us decorate it.
We can put some sleigh bells on it for you, if you like? LOL

All the best,
Margie
