No, John, there has been no crime until someone confesses to it, pleads guilty, or is found guilty by a judge or jury.

Nope, c2, you are confusing two steps. First step--a crime was committed, someone was murdered, a house was broken into, the name of a covert CIA agent was leaked to the media. Second step--who commited the crime. That's the process you are talking about.

Yes...like diplomatic parties, entertaining Wilson's guests from the Middle East, interviews with them...ALL sorts of ways, particularly if Wilson was so proud of his new 3rd wife, that he flaunted her maiden name on his Bio on the internet.

There are lots of non-criminal ways that Novak may have known that she was employed by the CIA--it could have been an open secret in DC; she may have told him; there could have been an innocent disclosure; or, more likely, Novak may have simply put two and two together
