Yes, he did provide the opportunity himself. He made the "mistake" of discussing a race issue, which the Left doesn't like because it wants to "own" all race issues and discourse. The Left pounced to evoke a knee-jerk, emotional response, and they got it. If you really do consider yourself a Republican, you certainly don't show the reasonable, factual analysis and skepticism of emotionally-charged b.s. that I would expect. You sound more like a Hollywood liberal. I think you simply realized who you are.
