Looks pretty bad right now.

No, it is a very unusual event, that you and I will probably never see again. It took the combination of a disliked Governor that should never have been re-elected getting in on the lowest vote total in a long time. This made the needed number of signatures low. Then the exposure of his lying during the re-election about the budget situation.

Then you add to that the car tax. That is what set it off. Never "misunderestimate" the power of rubbing peoples noses in the tripling of a critical tax that they have to write an entire check for, with no way out.
