I like your analogy of the patch. Sooner or later it's not a matter of discrimination. And some can do it without the "patch". Others may need a little help. Would you say the playing field is level today? That Affirmative action is no longer needed? I'd say the playing field is not level, except maybe in the NFL. But it is getting more level today than it was 100 years ago. Affirmative action will likely not be needed when a Black family lives next door to you. Has a job making the same money as you. And can drive down to the store in his BMW without being pulled over for a DWB. Orca
