"Nobody in the Bush administration called me to leak this." - Novak

The Bush administration is pinning it's hopes on deflecting the investigation of the Wilson CIA leak to a narrow technicality. Karl Rove is not on the White House payroll. He is technically not in the administration but a mere "advisor" on Bush's personal payroll (or maybe the RNC). Various officials parse their words very carefully to imply that nobody working for the White House leaked this information, but of course Karl is not working for the White House, he just happens to hang around there a lot.

ironically, I believe our actors and athletes are leaders
as well as military field generals (not Pentagon)

Reagan brought some honesty and integrity to White House
Jesse Ventura brought competence to Minnesota
young black Nebraska quarterback is now a strong Congressman
Jack Kemp was a good senator from New York
Ahnalt S will make a good governor of Calif (but hated)
new Tennessy senator is very solid

I hear you on the pay scale issue though
you overlooked that CEO's make $20M for fuching up

economists and finance specialists make for the worst for producing economic policy and financial accounting

I believe we are doing ok in pursuing alternative sources for talent and leadership

I think the best politicians come from Army General ranks
that is why I like Wesley Clark
generals are hard to slam
even Mein Herr Rumsvelt can only call him the "TV General"

the only times I have ever seen Herr Commandant Rumsvelt and CEO Cheney are on TV
Clinton also
empty dig, Rumsvelt (seig heil)
