Bush has a chance to prove that he has brought integrity back, by full cooperation and swift action when the culprit is located. Any hint of a coverup would leave a bad smell. In fact, I think he SHOULD appoint an independent prosecutor. By the time they're done, it will be closer to the election, and he could say that he did the right thing, found the culprit, and turned him/her over. That Mr. Wilson holds such views in no way excuses the injustice that was done him and his wife Valerie Plame, when a leak to the media identified her as a CIA officer involved in analysis of information regarding weapons of mass destruction. Well said.
