If (as you say) only a "small minority" really wants the recall, then Davis has nothing to worry about on October 7, right???

pre 1900 law Initiative, referendum, and recall were first placed into state constitutions in the very late 1800- -South Dakota was first in 1898, followed by Utah in 1900 and Oregon in 1902. But the US Constitution is a pre 1800 law. Does that mean it's bad? Davis in a fair election Davis lied like a rig and bought that election with the taxpayers own money. Recall is a political, not a criminal, process. worthy of a small minority being able to get someone into the governorship with less than 15% of the voters The provisions of the state constitution for recall should be looked at closely and improved if possible. It's clear why it was done the way it was, though: a recalled guv should e in office as short a time as possible. That's why there is no second election. Davis is currently showing us clearly the damage one facing recall can do. Pete Wilson is behind Arnie Slick Willie and Al Gore are behind Davis. So what? This is called "politics". and is the one really responsible for the energy debacle that has destroyed the Cal economy Slick Willie's bubble burst destroyed the economy. Gray Davis using the state surplus to fend off the energy problem to ensure his own reelection made it worse. And deserves recall. and if nothing else, BUSH and his TEXAS BOYZ are to blame for the huge deficits in California and JUST ABOUT EVERY STATE IN THE NATION. Your eyes are brown, aren't they? so when are they going to boot out the governor that was fairly elected in Nevada???? When the electorate there feels that is what is needed. Apparently they don't. You are simply pissed because one of YOUR oxen is being gored. The facts and justice of the case are irrelevant. CC ChickenCrap?
