"I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that" Mostly what I said. So we agree. I equate a decent society with a society which values equality. "No I am and should be free to say what I see as harm and what I don't see as harm." You are responding to air. What I said was that your opinion does not over-ride the opinions of others as to what harm is. I did not say you could not think for yourself. "Neither was mine." That is good. That is agreement. "Neither did I" Again...agreement! "Certainly the actions of a jerk can be harmful." We should start a company! "I would agree." Sheesh! I must blush! "I agree with both ideas, idiots can cause harm, and good people can cause happiness" I guess that settles it. We both agree that there are people in the world who cause harm (and, of course, we all do). We also agree that causing harm is not always actionable but that it sometimes is. And we both agree that people have a right to be idiots, freaks, or whatever. If they transcend the law then they are subject to prosecution and punishmnet. If I have missed anything please let me know what it is.
