Are these comments racist?

Rice credited affirmative action for her job at Stanford. She was not picked for her current job because of any familiarity with terrorism. She dropped the ball before 9/11 and appears not to be able to play an effective role -- she is out of her league and out of her area of expertise.

Rice came into this administration knowing nothing about terrorism and in way over her head -- she was not qualified for the job and she had not even read basic briefs on terrorism from Sandy Berger, nor did she heed the warnings on terrorism because she was there primarily for affirmative action reasons and to help deal with Russia, where she has some expertise.

BTW, the McNab comment was clearly not racist.

When someone like Larry Elder or Ken Hamblin says Rush's weren't racist comments, just for instance, I think we should take heed.

I don't listen him often, but have on occasion. Have never heard him say anything racist, or I'd have called or emailed him.

I personally think Affirmative Action is racist. And hyphenating things like African-American or German-American, or any number of etc's is racist as well. Evidently Oprah does as well. She had listed herself as African American, until she went to Africa, and they told her she was American. Now she says American.

But of course John doesn't think calling Powell a house nigger is any big deal. All politics, all the time.
