I think Young has figured out that the Georgia seat is going to be Republican.

CBS NEWS
Keeping Them Guessing: Former Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young, who had told Democrats he was going to run for U.S. Senate next year, is reportedly not as sure about a bid.

Today, he indicated he still wasn’t ready to formally announce his candidacy, one day after he told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution he was unsure about running at all.

"I’m in the race, but I’m in the race my way,” he said at the U.S. Capitol Thursday, according to the AP. "Either you’re in or you’re out, and right now I’m in – in the process."

Yesterday, the 71-year-old Young admitted to the Journal-Constitution that he was "torn" about another political run. "I’m trying to figure out the best thing for me to do to have a role in the national debate," he told the newspaper. "And I’m not sure if that role should be as a candidate."

"It’s not the simple decision to run or not run that I first thought," he added. "I’m really struggling with it."

Other Georgia Democrats have held off on jumping into the race to succeed retiring Democratic Sen. Zell Miller because of Young’s supposed impending candidacy. Both Michelle Nunn, the 36-year-old daughter of former Sen. Sam Nunn, and Rep. Jim Marshall said they wouldn’t run if Young does.

The folks of your persuasion are pushing this smoked Red Herring.

:o)

(BTW, have you ever smoked a Red Herring?)

FL,
I don't smoke and I don't like herring...red, smoked or otherwise...So I don't understand the problem. And I never had to keep one lit.

Well, maybe a little salted herring is OK, but only with a cold beer.

Can we agree?...Let's just get to the truth of this issue as quickly as possible.

It seems to be a routine investigative matter for the FBI imo...but I would let you choose the investigators as long as they passed muster.

I believe the Wilsons are guilty.

Have you prepared a comment, if you learn that the guy with the hot rocks and the big mouth, Wilson, and the broad with the blonde hair and hot bod, Plume, are determined to be the most likely sources of the leak?

Hell, it was shown in an an earlier post yesterday and tonight, that the husband, Wilson, admitted that she, Plume, told him, while kissing on a date, that she is a CIA agent.
That proves to me that she outed herself.

Though never stationed there, I have attended a fair number of ranking cocktail parties in DC while a single officer in-route and on TDY.
Trust me...there are lots of loud mouths there, frantic to brag about their positions...both men and women.

(BTW, have you ever smoked a Red Herring?)

Not yet. But, I have seen several being smoked recently on the fagd thread.
