Correct. It doesn't work at all. Gun control is the equivalent of taking guns from the police and giving it to the criminals. I cannot put it any more succinctly than that. The statistics show 1500 accidental gun deaths per year, 10,000 gun killings and 2,500,000 uses of guns in self defense. If you ban guns, instead of 11,500 deaths from firearms you get over a million deaths from crimes of violence. I'll take the lesser of two evils and the 11500 deaths any day of the week.
