Tenchu,

I occasionally follow hockey, and the commentators are going out of their way to promote black players, which I just take as part of the polital correctness. Some of the black guys are in fact really good. A few who excel in their role play the goon role, which is part of hockey, but the PC commentators don't like the goon role in hockey, so they have a major league dilemma on their hands.

Anyway, since they call them black (because of PC), they call them African Americans. And as someone pointed out, all of them are in fact Canadians, and the only guy who is African (born in Africa) is white.

Joe

Ted, That would mean the owners of the Eagles don't care if they make money........they're happy with a second rate QB but one who's black. Do you think that's true?

I don't follow the NFL close enough to come to a conclusion. It is possible, though, that the NFL commissioner and his associates are trying to "add more color" to the league, but the owners and the coaches will take whoever will win regardless of race.

Ten, what's logical here? Is the NFL a non profit, do good social organization, or a profit motivated operation? If its the latter, do you think INTC would hire a black CEO so it could "add more color" to its employee lineup?
