IMO, President Bush is sympathetic to the Mexicans that try to cross into the USA for a better life. As Governor of Texas, he had a lot of dealings with that because of our long border with Mexico. But in this case, the cards and the license idea are terrible, and there is a legal way for immigrants to enter the US and we have got to get a handle on it.
