Neither "shows the opposite", since neither refutes the factual progress that has been made. Additionally, the article on the strengthening of the guerillas/terrorists contains a paragraph or two on how we ourselves are making progress in dealing with them. I didn't bother to read the Chalabi piece, since it is too irrelevant.......

I thought that these guys knew that this is giving aid and comfort directly to the enemy! It was bad enough that all these military heroes have been talking down the war, i.e. Wesley Clark, (Silver Star), David Hackworth (DSC, Silver Star + 9 oak leaves, Legion of Merit, etc.), but to have a SERVING US OFFICER working for the other side??? What's going on here? Where are the brave patriots who used to keep this country safe? Obviously, we need Hawkmoon! -- Carl
