No, we have to right the wrong.

If Bob bashes John's head in, hurting Jim to help Mary doesn't punish Bob or compensate John.

Its the same principle used with environment disasters. This generation pays for the mistakes of past generations.

The fact that this generation has problems with the negative effects of environmental problems caused by the actions of past generations isn't a principle of justice just an unavoidable unfortunate fact. The idea that this generation might pay money to fix the problems is again not an example of imposing justice or righting a wrong that has been done to someone but rather taking prudent action to improve our situation. If however you apportioned payment of the cost to fix the environmental damage by skin color then I think you would be imposing an injustice not doing something either just or prudent. If you looked at the fact that white people owned the vast majority of polluting businesses in the past in the US and said that today's white people have to pay more, while black people get a discount on the cost it wouldn't be fair, just, or of practical benefit to the country as a whole. That would be more like AA then cleaning things up the way we actually are cleaning them up.

Its not revenge.....its doing unto others the way you want others to do unto you.

I want others to treat me according to my character, abilities, and personality, not my race.

I like the word. It kills two birds with one stone. What city was so stupid?

I don't remember. It was at least a couple of years ago probably more then that.
