Ahnalt brings up a good point about Hitler
and so did Herr Kurt Richebacher
what most (historically ignorant) Americans dont realize is that in Hitler's first few years, he did a remarkable job in organizing a nation which had suffered a loss in a major war, and humiliation with war reparations
the reparations were not intended to get the country on its feet, but rather to punish it severely
it was punished, and so much so that it emerged in a starved fashion, heavily motivated to take what it needed from neighbors

Ahnalt said "I admired Hitler's speech making, but not..."
all past the ... is not remembered

Kurt Richebacher talked for an hour about Hitler on a sunny sidewalk over lunch
he mused back to what could have been under his leadership
"Hitler could have been great leader, but he turned toward destruction, seizing land, and killing many people"

Nixon started out as a remarkably effective president, as he made peace with China, opened ice cold relations after decades of polarization
he ended his career in utter shame and resignation

so Ahnalt fondled a few women in his athletic prime
so what?
I fondled 6-8 women in past years myself
or was it 106-108 ? I cannot remember
it was wrong, but part of growing up as a young man
did you ever improperly cop a feel back in the ripe hormone-driven age of 18-25 years ???

what is your point about Ahnalt anyway?

he has a solid grasp of what needs to be done in Caleefornya
to reduce spending, cut spending, and curtail some more spending
he is big enough to cut some burokratic jobs
by the way, Davis and Sacramento have cut 40000 jobs in Calif
teacher jobs
no burokrat jobs, not a one

he understands the need to quit raising taxes as this truly stupid state continues its reckless course of driving corporations OUT OF THE STATE
they are raising all kinds of taxes, and keeping fat in govt
they are raising driver registration, sales tax, and much more
this policy is incredibly stupid and deserving of disaster

IF PRESENT POLICIES ARE CONTINUED, THE DEFICIT NEXT YEAR WILL BE GREATER THAN LAST YEAR
I dont think anyone but Ahnalt seems to understand this
a background in either politics or economics seems to me to prepare a leader in utter stupidity on all matters economic and financial

imagine some dweeb state senator from Sacramento coming into the governor mansion to explain why a commission of 60 people on energy should NOT be cut by 25% in staff

the guy would leave quietly, intimidated

as for violence, Ahnalt is part of a popular genre
I dont love the genre, but I dont regard him as representative in such a way as to take heat for it

have you seen "Kindergarten Cop" ?
excellent
how about "Twins" ? with Danny DeVito ?
excellent

if you want to attack violence, look to the moron directors and producers of Hollywood
they have latched onto pyrotechnics and the like to sell movies, instead of depth of plot, intrigue, character development
anyone who believes the US Film industry has improved and grown in quality since 1975 is full of crappola

take it easy
nothing is simple
the path we in the USA are on is headed for a collision with reality which shakes the entire nation severely
failures abound, with economics, corporate fraud, politics, education, family, and much more

the best parts (innovation, business opportunity, charity, and more) have unfortunately take a distant back seat to the reality behind the above failures

even Red Cross was guilty of fraud after the World Trade Center attack
United Way has 90% overhead costs
US technology developments dont benefit the USA anymore, since followup mfg is done in Asia, and we only proceed with scraps in retail sales profits and administration of trade

the UnBacked USDollar, Strong Dollar policy, Global Trade, and Asian Outsourcing have destroyed this nation's economic and monetary foundation
to my dismay, ethics, morality, and basic honesty are all consequent casualties
dissenters show their dispute in hollow rings

this Ingersoll bankruptcy is typical of failed US policies

rrstar.com

American firms which real products, real innovation, and solid staff simply cannot compete
so they close their doors and lay off workers
