NEWS: RADIO HOST ACCUSES ARNOLD OF SEXUAL ASSULT

Oct. 3 — JOY BROWNE ACCUSES ACTOR
Women’s groups, joined by former candidate-turned-recall-opponent Arianna Huffington, held protests around the state urging Schwarzenegger to drop out of the race as a new allegations of groping surfaced from Joy Browne, a psychologist whose advice program is syndicated to nearly 200 radio stations nationwide.

Browne said Friday on the television show “Inside Edition” that Schwarzenegger groped her ankles and knees during an interview in the 1970s.

On her radio show Thursday night, she said the encounter took place in 1977 during an interview about “Pumping Iron,” the documentary Schwarzenegger was promoting at the time. The Los Angeles Times quoted Browne as telling her audience that Schwarzenegger fondled her legs under the table during the interview.

“Then he left his credit card in the studio and insisted that Browne, then in her late 20s, personally return it to his hotel room,” the newspaper quoted her as saying.

A spokesman for the campaign said Schwarzenegger did not remember the alleged incident.

Another new accuser was Dan Lurie, for decades a prominent figure in the sport of bodybuilding, who told The Associated Press on Friday that he watched in amazement as Schwarzenegger repeatedly groped waitresses at a snack bar at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York around 1969 or 1970.

“I said, ‘Arnold, what are you doing?’” Lurie, now 80, recalled from his home in New York. “He said, ‘I want sex. This is what I do in my country.’

“I said, ‘You’re in America now. You can get killed for that. You don’t know if they’re married.’”

Ann Coulter said you commie-loving isolationist liberals were OK with Hitler until he atttacked your Uncle Joe. Guess that makes you a Nazi lover too.

I'll be back later.
