I just posted about my disgust with the Arnold link to Hitler. You just don't get it. Just because you post over and over your OPINION, it does not become, ipso facto, a FACT. You are entitled to your opinions, just as I am. I believe that if one reads the history of the period and the subsequent history, the Palestinians have been used by their "leaders" and by the Arab tyrants and OILogarchs in a most cynical way. That is, in order to stay in power and to control wealth, without losing power to their impoverished subjects, Israel was an easy rallying point and scapegoat. You give an instance or instances of terror and I responded that almost all Israelis and Americans would oppose that in today's world, whether it be from Ben Gurion or Hamass. I believe we live in a world where we have to look at today's situation and make judgements based on what is going on today. That is even more important than arguing over who was to blame. I respond to you and others only because you seem to have a very slanted OPINION. Look at warfare. We won WWII by inflicting massive casualties on civilians. We could debate for hours, even years, whether it was right or wrong given the desire to eliminate Hitler and his allies. Today, the US was criticized for incidental killing of civilians after investing hundreds of millions, even billions, in technology that would minimize civilian targets. On the other hand, Hamass is defended by many on these threads for INTENTIONALLY targeting civilians and only having military targets as incidental goals. The Palestinian people, the Arab people, are not animals and neither are the Israelis or the Americans. However, in today's world there seems to be a clear line of demarcation between terrorists and those who want to rid the world of tyranny.
