<When you are in pain, it's likely very easy to get hooked on this stuff. In the past it was a whole lot easier to get. I remember when they used to sell codeine right over the counter mixed with aspirin.>

Actually, that's not true. I had to deal with a pain specialist at a major Toronto hospital after a car accident and that is where I first learned that the body reacts differently to medications such as opiates when there is intense pain present. A person is much more likely to NOT become addicted when there is pain present. It's usually when painkillers are used irresponsibly that people become addicted. I find it ironic that people will view his addiction to painkillers different than another's addiction to morphine, heroin etc..

What is his pain? He claims no illnesses.

OTOH, Rush polarizes and has a lot of enemies.

And that is by intent. He loves the notoriety.

Even rival talk show hosts, who would like to see him off the air. I doubt it will happen though.
The fact that guys like you and Ted, hate him...is EXACTLY what he wants...the ability to polarize. Hillary has this ability as well.

Hillary and Rush are night and day. Rush tries to polarize.....its how he makes his money. If he didn't, he would be a neb, reporting on a farm team in backwater podunk.

Hillary polarizes because you all can't take a smart woman who is liberal.
