In yen the fun part will be if the BOJ comes in on Monday morning in Japan and jams up the currency. In Euro hedge funds lost a lot of money but people have made very good money in the JPY in the last two weeks. The move from 115 to 110.xx was very good. And now hedge funds are short a lot of USD in JPY. USD/JPY is the only place where there is no pain yet.

I do not know the extent of the correction- it will depend on how equities hold up. If they keep rising the same way, bonds will sell off more and USD will do well. There is a good chance that this correction may inflict more pain.

Let us see

Cheers
