ok but let me ask you something. Do you think that McClintock in his heart believes what he preaches? I think some of these guys just tow the party line. Remember Bob Barr driving his wife to the doctor for an abortion. For native californians (I am not sure if McClintock is that)- there really aren't that many social conservatives who really practice. Like my parents, diehard Reagan supporters in the 70s... but they would never support the social conservatives today if they were alive I know that. It just rubs against the grain.

Bustamante is acceptable to at least 25% of Californians.
Just your opinion. In fact, his solutions are VERY reasonable from a middleclass point of view. Tax the rich a little more. Sounds okay to me. The rich get off easy in California due to low-low property taxes, as well as Bush's new tax cuts. Luxury and sin taxes are also a good option. Bustamante is not charismatic but he sure knows what he's doing. McClintock also knows what he's doing and is the real Repuiblican in the race. Arnold has become a sick joke. What an embarrassment to the GOp for rejecting McC and endorsing Arnold. Especially since has offered not a single specific idea other than repealing the car tax, a tax which was the same tax Pete Wilson his chairman had in place when he was governing.
