<US Manufacturers have to outsource to lower labor sources in order to remain price competitive. If you were a manager of Maytag or Dell or whoever, what choice would you have. continue to pay $18/hr plus benefits to US workers or outsource for $5-6/hour overseas (or less). Yet Darwinism, the survival of the fittest, also talks to adaptation to changing environment. The handling of the goods coming in, the selling in the stores, the increased technology to track sales trends, etc. makes up for some of the lost jobs. some> All true. But do you not think that the situation is becoming seriously out of balance? Thats my concern. That the natural balance of the changing labor environment is seriously broken.
