Would not my criteria for recognizing the true return work? That is, if I cannot see the heavens split and hear the trumpet blow from outside my house while my friends in other parts of the world also see it with no television or internet involved, and if I do not begin to rise in the air to meet Him, it must be a false thing no matter what else happens that seems miraculous. Pretty hard to get fooled this way, but very easy to be persecuted if the rest of the world is worshiping some other being.

Well as I read and study, I can't help but think that there will be very clear signals that the end is at hand. I don't believe it will sneak up on anyone.

Pre-Trib rapture. No clear idea yet. I have read scriptures that seem to indicate some will go early. Need to study them more. A geographic Israel does not seem important, why is one place more important than others? Symbolic only.
