Hawk, so you DID create value. Government DOES produce something. Something very valuable, called security. Hey Maurice... if you want to rewrite the theory of economics, you should waste your efforts on someone else... Government produces nothing.. Government, with all of its various agencies and duties, equates to "overhead", not profit. But I WOULD concur that the collective security and regulation provided by government makes it possible for OTHERS to create wealth. It's an enabler, not a producer. Were it a producer, it would be a "for-profit" enterprise. Hawk
