That came after a particular series of vicious insults that took place over several hours. When Jewels served this up on my platter, it seemed like a perfect segue as both a come-back and a taste of humour! "bowing to the left...bowing to the right...one more time straight ahead..." So I said: Make sure you face Mecca when you do that Shi-, MOHO!! Under the cimrcumstances of attack and considering the setting of the thread and the jocular and natural segue--I think "over the top" is a bit "over the top". I thought it was rather humourous at the time. Jewels has declared himself a follower of Islam, and bowing and prostration are associated with that. What is important here is that this little segue (whether you found it humorous or not) had NOTHING to do with the myriad potty mouth "memories" that were being flung at me by Jewels. I guess (if I go by your reaction) religious comedy is not my forte! I will try to remember that in future. <g> And I will be sure to get appropriately exercised over the religious (and non-religious) humour and segues of others!
