We have a president starting wars on the flimiest of excuses and on a serious distortion of the truth.

No WMD found in Iraq. It's a fact even the CIA has admitted now.

Oh its getting better. It looks like last March Blair admitted to his Foreign Secretary there were no WMD. Apparently, he went along with Bush in order to have a say in American foreign policy. And it seems they also made up the al Qaeda connection as they went along. See the link and article excerpt below.

Assuming all this is true, and I have no reason to doubt it, I think Blair's butt is pretty much out the door. And what happens to Blair usually precedes by about 6 months what happens to Bush.

Ex-Minister Says Blair Knew Iraq Had No Banned Arms
By WARREN HOGE

Published: October 5, 2003

"LONDON, Oct. 5 — Prime Minister Tony Blair conceded privately that Iraq did not have the quickly deployable weapons of mass destruction that the British government cited as justification for war, former Foreign Secretary Robin Cook asserted today.

Mr. Cook, who resigned his post as leader of the House of Commons because of Britain's decision to join in the American-led war, said Mr. Blair also made it clear to him in a conversation two weeks before combat began that he did not believe Saddam Hussein's weapons posed a "real and present danger" to Britain."

We have a GOP party that is known for its fiscal conservatism but is running up one of the largest budget deficits in US history. And then there's you.

You are talking to someone with a serious reality comprehension problem (T Watson). He does not seem to see anything that taints the republican party even though treason and criminal behavior are common now days in Bushco.

Oh I know who Watson is. I've had him on IGNORE for months now. However, someone from another thread cross referenced his post on the NY Times retraction. I couldn't let that one go by. Arnold may win on Tuesday but it will be with the truth of who he is out there.

Where'd you get those rose colored glassed Tom?

I'm afraid its brainwashing and not tinted glasses that are responsible for his stinkin' thinkin'! <g>
