There is a new jeep that they are considering that is land-mine proof. It is basically a rubber ball with a skin 2 feet thick, an interior filling of 14 inches of sand, and a malleable sheet-iron interior. Its body locomotes by virtue of two rotating exterior bands. It can climb 5 foot fences by extending its lugs in the tracks, and rolling right over them. For transporting it has three largish holes in the top that are in a triangular grouping. For area defense it lobs ten pound grenades filled with low grade black powder and feces from sick dogs mixed with resorcinal glue, -- to a range of 200 metres by using a compressed air gun. Code name Veeblefretz. The Liberals in Ottawa will order them if studies confirm that they weaken the forces, allow them to shirk Nato committments, and fit their vision of a modern ill equipped fighting force that would have to surrender if surrounded by a determined troop of girl guides armed with slingshots. Stephen: Dec Copper is making a new life-of-contract high today. The long-term charts tell me it could go to 92 cents in this wave. IMO it finally looks as though the market is uncoupling itself from the US economic prospects and looking at the global supply-demand situation -- especially the massive demand coming out of China and other Asian countries. Good time to be building positions in copper stocks, or PM stocks that have major (undervalued) copper deposits. Regards, Howy
