no you don't, John. You and mindmeld are financial types and you at least desperately want to believe that this offshoring model works, it makes your life easier. And Accenture, Gartner etc really want the model to go, because it is incredibly lucrative for them (Accenture had no future in the 90s until offshoring took off so they REALLY want it to go). Like Larry Ellison, refusing to admit to the damage that he himself caused, destroying his own market and company by giving it away - instead he blames "market maturity" or other such malarky. Business leaders that make mistakes thanks to Gartner rarely stand up and say... "I listened to Gartner and blew it". They try to talk around the issue as if the matter was out of their control.

no market recovery for years... no capex upgrades... all of this carnage had a lot to do with offshoring IT, it has nothing to do with overcapacity for gods sake I have 4x the employees, and 4x the software licenses I had in the bubble. I use more bandwidth and am running out of it, I need more PCs everything, no the capacity glut is over and has been over for at least a year. The problem this economy has is offshoring at least in the tech area, why can't you just admit it. At least the financial shows are finally catching on.
