Bush's spending is very politically motivated. Because Bush must turn things around by 2004, he's spending and tax-cutting unwisely on things which only benefit his re-election strategy. He wants to give everybody everything, but he's full of false promises, hype and deception.

Any Republican who thins Grey davis has done a poor job ought to look at Bush first. That man has created problems we won't solve for many years to come.

In point of fact, Bush does not claim to desire tax cuts for the wealthy, and I do believe any fair analysis shows, again, that he hasn't been a party to one, he's merely kept the relative tax burden on rich and poor as close to even(as it was) as possible, while providing tax cuts. Aside from that, I disagree with Bush on many things, and voted Libertarian not Bush, because I voted my beliefs. I believe we should fight the war on terror. I believe too that we should help Iraq; you don't think so, I gather. Foolish, IMO.
